THE NEW ORLEANS PARENT’S CLUB (NOPC)
Jewish Family Service and the JCC are thrilled to announce the launch of The New Orleans Parent’s Club (NOPC.) Our agencies are working together to create an innovative program for parents of young children. We invite all members of the New Orleans community to join us for the opportunity to socialize with other parents and learn important skills that will help guide parents through the everyday blessings and challenges of parenthood.
The NOPC will meet every Monday from 9:15-10:45am at the Uptown JCC, beginning on September 13th, through the 2010-2011 school year. Each session will be facilitated by Dr. Dahlia Topolosky, a licensed psychologist, with topics focusing on positive parenting techniques and addressing ways to build your children’s self-esteem and encourage a healthy nurturing family environment. Light refreshments will be served and your child is welcome to play beside you in our warm and kid-friendly space. Membership is $100 a year and gives you access to 30 sessions.
