The new Lifeline AutoAlert button provides an added layer of protection by automatically placing a call for help if a fall is detected and the subscriber can’t push the button.

JFS introduces Lifeline with AutoAlert

April 15 signals the launch of a revolutionary new technology from Philips Lifeline that offers subscribers an added layer of protection. Lifeline with AutoAlert is a medical alert service which incorporates advanced technology into a new pendant-style Help Button that can automatically place a call for help when a fall is detected—even when the subscriber can’t or won’t push the button.

After working with scientists and engineers from NASA for over 3 years. Philips Lifeline has developed this new technology that uses multiple sensors to measure the velocity of a fall. Because a fall can be detected within minutes–even if a button is not pressed–AutoAlert offers increased protection for people with a history of stroke, heart disease, dementia, and Alzheimer’s.

For brochures or more information, please call Marilyn Kline, Lifeline Program Manager, at (504) 831-8475 or email: marilyn@jfsneworleans.org.
