Description: Lifeline volunteers are needed to call each subscriber once a month as a reminder to test the equipment. These calls provide a personal touch, establishing a bridge of communication between JFS and the subscribers.
This is a great opportunity for men or women, especially those who are retired, to volunteer within the community and to help JFS deliver excellent service to those who need assistance.

Description: Volunteers are needed to visit with teens in area schools and give them the strength and knowledge needed to help prevent possible suicide among their peers.
Following 2 days of training, the adult volunteers visit schools for 1 hour a day for 4 consecutive days, four times a year (for a total of 16 hours of commitment).
